A bit more about me:
Before transitioning into UX, I studied Cognitive Science at UC Davis and worked in Autism and Alzheimers research, learning the importance of data- backed decisions and helping to improve quality of life for patients.
I moved into UX in hopes of continuing to help users while also exploring my creativity, with joyful and intuitive designs instead of scientific findings and patient care. My designs, like my interest in research, are driven by empathy and a desire to contribute to society.
I’m based out of Menlo Park, CA, where I spend my free time gardening, doodling, and hanging with my cat, Teddy.

Overall I strongly recommend Rachel for any world class design team.”
Alex Powell, Principal Design Director at Microsoft
“Rachel is the best UX designer I have worked with at Microsoft. She has a user-centric approach, asking the right questions which demonstrates her commitment to thoroughly understanding user needs to create the best end user experiences. Her command of Figma results in beautiful wireframes that are easy to export when sharing to Customers and Partners... I feel at ease when working with Rachel because she delivers wireframes on time, every time, and has such a wonderful personality to boot! She is supremely talented in UX design and I feel so honored to work with her at Microsoft.”
Rima Reyes, Principal Product Manager
“Throughout our work together, Rachel has consistently proven her ability to deliver high-quality designs within agreed timelines. Her collaborative spirit shines as she actively engages in partner calls, seeking clarification and asking the right questions. What truly sets Rachel apart is her openness to feedback and her willingness to incorporate it seamlessly into her designs. She does not hesitate to push back or seek input from others when she believes it's necessary. Her contributions have been invaluable, and I have the utmost confidence in recommending Rachel for any UX design role. Working alongside her has been a pleasure, and I am certain she will excel in any team.”
